Wild Child Adventure School is an outdoor education opportunity for children 3-12yrs that brings together Reggio Emilia, Waldorf and Forest School Pedagogy in a beautiful celebration of childhood learning.
Located at Wild Spirit Prairie Sanctuary on 45 acres of beautiful prairie land just 45min north of Regina . Wild Child Adventure School enjoys a variety of outdoor learning spaces as well as a yurt for indoor discovery.
Wild Child Adventure School aims to provide opportunities for children to explore, go on adventures, investigate, create and use their imaginations in the beautiful Saskatchewan prairies. The child lead learning philosophy creates space for in depth study and a natural evolution of topics based on the interests of the children.
‘Wild Children’ are encouraged to develop a sacred reverence for the earth and love of the natural world through daily ritual, seasonal celebrations and the fostering of their own innate natural wisdom. From the wet and muddy days of spring to the cold and windy days of winter and everything in between, ‘Wild Children’ spend the majority of their time outside with opportunities to get out of the sun or warm up as the season requires.
